The Pump House is a venue which has been lovingly-restored by Stefano using mainly upcycled and recycled materials. Having achieved Change of Use to a restaurant/café at the end of May, we initially offered Takeaway until the beginning of August when we began to open in the evenings as a restaurant. We can’t wait until we can open more frequently and hope that we can continue to host evenings over the coming months…we are still continuing to offer Takeaway on Fridays and Saturdays - see below.

Our menu offers delicious dishes using high quality local game & meat as well as a wide range of vegetarian & vegan food. Italian: yes, but also European fusion dishes as well as South American, North American, pretty much all over the globe! Stefano has cooked in several continents and met people of all nationalities who have influenced his cooking. We look forward to wowing your taste buds!

We had hoped to be developing and extending our entertainments provision as we moved on through the year but clearly these plans are on hold. If you are a musician, artist or have any ideas on how you would like to use our space in the future, then please hang on to those thoughts and let’s all have faith that they will be realised sometime soon..….take care everyone.

– OPENING TIMES –

We are now temporarily closed to carry out works in the garden in preparation for hosting you outside from Monday April 12th.

We anticipate that the works will take 2-3 weeks but will keep you posted: we hope to be open for Easter weekend (2nd April), if not the weekend before (26th March).

We are, as ever, carrying out the works ourselves and we appreciate your patience.

We now have personalised gift vouchers available to suit any occasion such as birthdays, anniversaries & special occasions which can be used for at any time for Takeaway and Restaurant. Email us on hello@stefanosfood.co.uk with the details of your message, amount and method of collection (you can collect from The Pump House or we can email you the voucher). Minimum amount £10, available all year!

– CORONAVIRUS GUIDELINES –

Please note that you will now need to bring a mask with you so that you can enter the Pump House to collect your Takeaway. Do let us know if you would prefer not to enter at all.
