The Pump House restaurant and music venue is a beautiful building which has been lovingly restored by Stefano using mainly upcycled and recycled materials, a project which has taken 6 years so far – you will soon be able to click here to find out more about the project and The Pump House’s history.

Future bookings are now via here for up to 8 guests with a 30-day rolling availability and via bookings@thepumphousewellington.co.uk for larger groups and bookings further ahead than 30 days.

For last minute availability, please call 01823 665727 from 3pm Thursday - Saturday. You can also call and make a future booking then if that’s more suitable for you. We also welcome walk-ins.

– PARKING –

We do have parking for approximately 15 cars so please consider car-sharing or even walking if you live locally. There is plenty of parking in the nearby Industrial Estates which are only a couple of minutes’ walk away if our car park is full.

PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE CARS OVERNIGHT.

If for any reason you have left your car without informing us and require access but the gate is closed, don’t worry and then call 07923 384261 and not ABACUS.

– TAKEAWAY –

Apologies, but we are no longer offering any Takeaway as we are too busy with the Restaurant.

We ask for:

Minimum of 2 courses chosen

£10 deposit per person

10% service charge

Please note that if individuals within your group booking need to cancel for emergencies, then we require that you call or email us before we open on the day of your booking so that we can rearrange the table spaces which you have booked. If we are not informed then the deposit will not be refunded (in most cases) as this has a huge impact on our availability for other guests, staffing & food/drink preparation.

The full group booking can be cancelled up to a certain number of days in advance of the date of the bookings - this is dependent on the size of your group & will be confirmed in your deposit invoice.

– CHANGES TO USUAL OPENING HOURS –

We are available for private bookings with a minimum of 20 guests outside of our usual opening times (including lunchtimes). For smaller businesses, why not combine your event such as a Christmas party with other small businesses? Or you are of course welcome to book a table when we are open in the evenings, Thursdays to Saturdays.

– THE GARDEN –

Here is our outside covered/heated area which has all the sides closed during the winter. We also have some very effective spot heaters which provide great warmth. Do, however, dress appropriately if your table is outside - even in the summer!

– BIRTHDAYS AND OTHER CELEBRATIONS –

Please let us know in advance so that we can check the location of your table(s) and other plans if you would like to bring decorations and/or balloons (ideally no helium balloons please).

We offer Birthday and other Celebration cakes: freshly made to order and personalised. Please contact us at least a week in advance of your celebration to order. If you bring your own cake and would like to eat it in the restaurant then there will be a charge of £2 per person on your table as we do offer desserts as well as cakes. Alternatively, we are also happy to put a candle in a dessert for you.

We host all kinds of celebrations such as 18th birthdays, weddings or corporate celebrations.

Please don’t forget to bring ID if you are lucky enough to look under 25 (!) as we do operate a Challenge 25 policy and must refuse to serve alcohol to anyone who can’t provide us with ID.

– GIFT VOUCHERS –

You can purchase personalised gift vouchers available to suit any occasion such as birthdays, anniversaries, Christmas & special occasions which can be used at any time with no Expiry Date in our Restaurant.
